He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Ehler and Hattie Ehler (Greencorn); his siblings, Eugene, Paul, Pat, Onslow, Marie and Eunice; and his aunt Mildred Benoit.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ehler (England); his children, David (Doris) of Vancouver, BC, Marty (Laura) of Fort McMurray, AB, Kevin (Erin) and Terry (Leanne) of Mulgrave, NS; his stepdaughter Crissy of Boylston, NS; his foster son Wayne of Antigonish, NS; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Haley, Brooklyn, Myah, Abby, Cole and Jack; his stepgrandchildren, Shaelyn, William and Jewleye; his siblings, Harold, Robert, Willard, Dot, Leona, Marion and Annabel; and his close friends, Pomeranians, Barry and Casey.
Donations in memory of Marven may be made to St. Martha's Palliative Care Unit.
