He was predeceased by: his father John Wood; his siblings, Mary Fougere (Vincent), Laura Fougere (Russell), Mary Carol, Jackie, Ken (Catherine), Bernie (Sharon), Allan and Ronnie (Bernadette); and his brother-in-law Gary Thompson.
He is survived by: his spouse Christena "Chrissie" (Chisholm); his children, Janice (Paul Nelson), Bay, Carolyn (John DeLorey), Charlotte (Byron Butt), Daryl (Marcela Zecca), Donald (Kim Sirois) and Ottawa; his granddaughter Janine DeLorey (Mike Ouellette); his children, Candace DeLorey (Duncan Pulsifer), Danielle Beaton (Kenneth), Rebecca DeLorey, Christine Phyne (Konnell), Nathaniel Butt, Angelina Butt, Colin Wood and Reid Loveless; his siblings, Margie Meagher (Leo), Barbara Thompson, Danny (Jean), Cape Jack, Vincent (Annie) and Larry (Linda); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Wood of Auld's Cove and Eileen Wood of Auld's Cove.
