We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2022, David Hubert Mattie of Monastery, Nova Scotia, born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Mattie and Margaret Mattie (Smith); his children, Trina and Kyle; his siblings, Catherine, Lyle, Wayne, Blaise, Allan, Hughie, Jimmy and Melvin; and his siblings-in-law, Anne and Paul Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his children, Chad (Megan) and Marlee (Josh); his siblings, Nellie, Bonnie (Billy), Barb (Billy), Iris, Gail, Della (Wilfred), Tracy (Harold), Gerard (Audrey), Garnet (Stella) and Brad (Bernadine); and his sisters-in-law, Kathy, Alice and Brenda.
The family requests that anyone attending the visitation or funeral to please wear a mask.
Memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Marfan Association or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
