She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Francis and Helen Francis (Morton); her daughter Shenda; her siblings, Sharon, Connie, Vernon and Jackie; and her half-brother Wilson.

She is survived by: her sons, Gerald (Josee) and Bernie (Daniel); her brother Gary (Ola); her half-brothers, Hector (Frances) and Ray (Ata); her sisters, Mavis (Stewart) and Shirley (Alva); and her friends, Marlene and Laurie. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
