It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodger Hal MacKinnon of Milton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Hewitt Leyland (MacKinnon); his wife Doris MacKinnon (Cogswell); his father Donald MacKinnon; his daughter Amanda MacKinnon; and his brother David MacKinnon.
He is survived by: his brothers, Richard (Truro) and Donald (Calgary); his stepchildren, Rhonda (Bob) Thibault (North Chegoggin) and Glen Cogswell (Yarmouth); and his niece Alberta.
Anyone wishing to honour his memory may, in lieu of flowers, donate to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Research Society, or Yarmouth Hospital Foundation.
