It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Tappen (Middleton, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tappen and Amelia Tappen (McKay); his close friend Phyllis Chaddock; and his brothers, John "Douglas" and David Francis.
He is survived by: his brother Fred Tappen (Mabel "Liz"). He is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
