He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Manning Jackson and Marjorie Jackson (Neily); and his siblings, Primrose, Vance, Laurence and Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Burke); his sons, David Jackson (Jeanette) and Michael Jackson; his siblings, Gertrude Harvey, Pauline Spicer, Margaret Weatherbe (Don) and Fred Jackson (Honey); and his granddaughters, Lauren and Emily. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
