He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Lovett and Hattie Robar (Bennett) of Torbrook; his close friend Joyce Charlton; his siblings, Harold, Henry and Leona Myers; and his half-brother Leland "Wimpy" Parker.

He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Robar; his brothers, Kenneth Robar, Nictaux and Charlie Robar of Sarnia, ON; and his pet Spirit.
