She was predeceased by: her father Curtis Haight; her husband Roy; and her sister Beatrice. She is survived by: her stepfather Warren Haight; her children, Gary (Suzanne), Gail Van Gestel (Wil) and Crystal Burrell (George); her grandchildren, Jay, Nichola, Jesse, Gregory (Kristina), Susie and Jimmy (Rhonda); and her great grandchildren, Maya, Jonathan, Rachel and Owen.
Donations can be made in memory of Vera to "The Lodge that Gives" or "Soldiers Memorial Hospital".
