Sheila Lois Giffen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Lois Giffen (Middleton, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold MacKay and Lavina MacKay; her husband Ray Giffen; her sisters, Ruth (Cecil), Day (California), Pauline (Wallie), Burke (Dartmouth) and Jean MacKay (Halifax); and her brother-in-law Larry Tannery (California).
She is survived by: her sister Shirley; her daughters, Cindy (David MacKinnon), Jill (Dave), Poole (Hillsvale) and Karen (Don Balcom); her grandchildren, Jill (Jay), Kubeck (Connecticut), Andrew (Winnipeg) and Ali (Dartmouth); her great grandchild Asa Kubeck; and her sister Mary Tannery (California).
Donations in memory may be made to the Middleton Food Bank or to the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation.
