He is survived by: his children, Mark (Patsy Davidson), Paula (David Robicheau), Russell Jr. "Rusty" (Kimberley), Gail Godreau (Don), Kelly Mills (Glenn) and Victoria Vale; his grandchildren, Richard "Ricky", Erika, Amanda, Mathew, Allen, Alicia and Jason "Jay"; and his siblings, Lester (late Charlotte), Meadowvale, Ray (Elizabeth), Forest Glade, Keith, Michael, Victoria Vale, Noreen Fallis (Michael), Kingston and Linda. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
