He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Grant and Jennie Grant (Ellis); his wife Joyce; and his siblings, Donald and Pauline.

He is survived by: his children, Sheila (Lou), Patti (Dwayne), Nancy (Mike), Elizabeth (Mike), Robert (Tammy), Gary (Cathy) and Christopher. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
