It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Elizabeth Oakes (Middleton, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Turner and Wallace Turner; her former husband Alfred Oakes; her significant other Robie Fralick; and her sister Joyce Crocker.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Turner (David), Brenda Connell (Dwight), Patricia Tompkins (Arthur) and Elizabeth Caldwell (Derek); and her sister Helen Oickle. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions a celebration of life and burial will be held in Torbrook Mines at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
