She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Mapplebeck and Leona M. Mapplebeck (Spicer). She is survived by: her husband Vernon W. Mahar; her sons, Blaine Mahar (Zabrina), Curtis Mahar and Quinn Mahar; her grandchildren, Morgan, Zoe, Dawson, Levi and Graceson; her great grandchildren, Carlie, Charlotte and Colton; and her siblings, Tamara Elwood (Phillip), Eric (late Kathy), Neil (Denice) and Dwight Mapplebeck (Angela). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to Valley Hospice Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
