With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orland Robert Rainforth (Middleton, Nova Scotia), born in Berwick, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 1, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitney Rainforth and Edith Rainforth (Fitch); and his niece Kristin Rainforth. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Rainforth (Lutz); his brother John Rainforth (Louise); his nephew Adam Rainforth (Kathy Ann); his great-nephew Jack; his great-niece Lucy; his nephew Peter Rainforth; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Simon, Lydia and Charlie; his nephew Danny Gould (Marla); his sisters, Beatrice Matthews and Joyce Gates; and his brother-in-law Reid Gould. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews from her family.
