He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Legge and Freda Legge (Parker); his sister Bessie; and his half-sister Marion Legge. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Legge (Hughes); his stepchildren, Michael Hughes (Lana), Darlene Bowlby (Greg) and Gordon Hughes; his stepgrandchildren, David Hughes, Jenny-Lynn Dietz, Germany of Emily Bowlby, AB and Abigail; his great grandchildren, Alice, Elaine and Germany of Octavia, AB; his children, Randy Legge (Sally), Valerie Pinhey (Fairn), Chris Legge (Tanya), Rodney Legge (Wanda) and Scott Legge (Ming); his grandchildren, Cory, Candice, Jeremy Pinhey, Ashleigh, Vanessa Legge, Sean L. and Cody L.; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, McKenzie and Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of NS, Canadian Cancer Society, Carey-Me Fund (Palliative Care), Pine Grove Cemetery, New Albany, or charity of choice.
