She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Mac and Freda Pearl Durling (Smith); her husband Johannes Patrick Hoogerwerf; her son David Kennith Hoogerwerf; and her brothers, Edwin Harry and Vaughn Carrol Durling.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Lynn Hoogerwerf-Shearer of South Williamston and Michael Robert Hoogerwerf of Margaretville; and her grandchildren, Mythia Elyse Hoogerwerf Shearer of Halifax, Michael Aiden of Margaretville, Garrett Johannes of Margaretville and Liam John Hoogerwerf of Margaretville.
