Lester Whitman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Whitman (Middleton, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 1, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence Whitman; and his daughter Deborah Dorey. He is survived by: his parent Olive Whitman (Corkum); his nephew Gordon Whynot; his daughters, Sharon "Sherry" Edison (Frank) of Mahone Bay, NS, Pine Grove of Mahone Bay, NS and Marguarite "Peggy" Veinotte (Mark) of Mahone Bay, NS; his siblings, Betty O'Neil (Eric) of Bridgetown, Frances Whynot (Earl) of Brickton, Carroll Corkum of Lawrencetown and Lawrence Whitman of Bridgetown; his grandchildren, Tabatha Dorey of Bridgewater and Shawn Dorey (Kyra) of Bridgewater; his great grandchildren, Monika, Tamisha, Sahara, Chauncy, Ashley, Alexandra and Jasper; and his great great grandchildren, Cohen and Fortune. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
