It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Elliott Bezanson (Middleton, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 15, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Bezanson and Phyllis Bezanson (Davidson); his son Nicklaus; his siblings, Della Baker, Bernice Dunlop, Bonnie McKie and Jackson Bezanson; and his siblings-in-law, Genevieve Sharkoff and Peter Barkhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Bezanson (Barkhouse); his daughters, Cynthia MacDonald, Morristown, Kerri Sholtz, Susanne Bouwman (Derek), Lockhartville and April McAlear (Terry); his son-in-law Paul Sholtz; his grandchildren, Greg Sholtz (Regan Lee), Sondra Sholtz (Frank Cabral), Isabelle Bouwman (Jordan Robb), Rachael Timmermans (Micah), Martinus Bouwman, Brady McAlear, Kelly Bouwman and Taylor McAlear; his great grandchild Sophia; and his siblings, Orlean Sketchley (Charlie), Mary Lou Hudson, Grace Garcia, Patricia Wirven, Cheryl Stewart (Terry) and Charlie Davidson (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
