It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Rosalie Stoddart (Middleton, Nova Scotia), born in Springfield, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 18, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Whynot and Winnie Whynot (Veinot); her husband Harold; her brother James Whynot; and her children-in-law, Ivy and Frank Whynot.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Durling (Roger) of Inglisville, Dale Whynot (Robert Joudrey), Upper Granville, Doreen Veinot (Ivan) of Inglisville, Beverley Deveau (Richard) of Trenton, ON, Bruce Stoddart of Aylesford and Michael Stoddart (Melanie) of Brickton; her siblings, Phyllis O'Neil of New Albany and Robert Whynot (Christine) of Springfield; and her sister-in-law Cecilia "Tiny" Whynot of Bridgewater. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
