She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred B. Riley and Jean M. Riley (Clark); her close friend Margaret Pierce; her husband Charles A. Spencer; her son Douglas "Dougie" Spencer; and her brother Edward "Eddie" Riley.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Parker (Roy) of Auburn, Grafton of Auburn, Wendy Spencer of Auburn, Andy Spencer (Rhonda) of Auburn, Shelley Budd (Robert), Karen Chesley (George), Forest Glade and Derek Spencer; and her siblings, Audrey and Raymond Riley (Karen) of Auburn. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
