It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Jean March Smith (Middleton, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Jean Berringer (Sweet) and Cyril Berringer; and her parents-in-law, Dorothy and Raymond Parsons. She is survived by: her cousin Laurie; her aunt Helen; her close friend Craig Parsons; her children, Natalie (Randal) and Matthew (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Daylen (Adrianna), Cooper, Amelia, Ella and Claire; her great grandchild Ally; her brother Peter (Roxanne); her siblings-in-law, John, Bruce (Shelley), Paul (Christine), Ray (Lori), Melanie (Rick), Lynne (John) and Sue (Mike); her nieces, Nicole, Chelsea and Molly; and her close friend Phyllis Smith. She is also survived by her partner, children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, brother.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:55 PM at the Middleton Baptist Church (111 Commercial St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Canadian Feed The Children, Canadian Cancer Society, Middleton Baptist Church or to a charity of choice.
