She was predeceased by: her parents, Caleb Acker and Dorothy Acker (Haldane Barteaux); her siblings, Juanita Mailman, Calvin Acker, Marie Williams and Everett Acker; and her son-in-law Albert Dowling.

She is survived by: her children, Kaye Dowling and Kevin Barteaux (Diane); and her grandchildren, Brenda Handy, Janet Dowling, David Dowling (Pam), Michael Dowling (Jeannette), Crystal Tattersall (Marty), Stephanie Armstrong (Doug) and Kyle Barteaux (Andrea). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
