He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Keddy. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Dion (Tracey Coleman); his sister Monique Giroux of Verdun, QC; his grandchildren, Nicholas Dion, Nadia Dion (Joshua Goguen), Kingston and Emily Dion; his great grandchild Adrian Goguen; his niece Nathalie Giroux; and his nephew Martin Giroux of Montreal, QC.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army in memory of Peter's annual contributions to the Christmas Daddies Charity.
