He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Graves and Hattie Graves (Allen); his brothers, Walter and Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Barb and Sheron.
He is survived by: his wife Olive (Marshall); his son David (Connie); his grandchildren, Robert (Heather), James and Tina (James); his great grandchildren, Breanna, Mya, Hayden and Gabriella; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Weston and Parker; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Marie, Stewart and Jonathan.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:55 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Fundy View Cemetery.
During that time, he was instrumental in the building of the Port Lorne Fire Department (of which he was a long-standing member) donating many hours of his time and equipment to this endeavor.
