He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann; his children, Rita Arendz, Barrie and Jacqueline Lewis (Perri) of Victoria Vale, NS.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Lewis, Victoria Vale and Dr. Stefanie Lewis; and his great grandchildren, Brynne, Brock and Willa Lewis.
In honour of his memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
