Though Jean Esther may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel MacKenzie and Elva MacKenzie (Sabean); her husband Donald M. Reed; her brother Harry MacKenzie; her sister-in-law Jean Newcombe; and her nephew Jamie.
She is survived by: her sons, Glynn Reed and Kenneth Reed (Darrin Lively) of Middleton, N. S.; and her grandchildren, Aleksas and Vitas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Hillside Cemetery.
