James Sheldon Franey Obituary
We bid farewell to James Sheldon Franey (Middleton, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 13, 2024 at the age of 83. James Sheldon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franey and Beulah Franey (Hines); and his grandson Pierre Andre Cyr. He is survived by: his wife Hazel F. A. Seaboyer; his children, Jane Potter (Barry), Korena Franey-Cyr (Alain), Christa Trombley (Michael), April Franey and Michael Franey (Nikita); his grandchildren, Xavier (Sabrina), Dimitri, Gwen (Wally), Morgan (Ben), Cameron, Chelsea, Amber, Samantha, Corrissa, Jessie, Aylissa and Brady; his great grandchildren, Kyree, Tyson, Joseph, Ainsley, Aries, Faith, Landon, Everley and Andrew; his brother John Franey (Lottie); and his half-siblings, Rick Bauer (Cathy) and Wendy Skreptak (late Michael).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Aylesford United Church (2414 Hwy 1, Aylesford, NS B0P1C0). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Aylesford Union Cemetery (2451 Hwy 1, Aylesford, NS B0P1C0).
