He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hanshaw and Mildred Hanshaw (Franklin); and his siblings, Hazel Johnson, Anna Hayward, Ruth O'Hara, Blair Hanshaw and Wilfred Hanshaw.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn (Dugas); his children, Curtis Henshaw (Denise) of Frankford, ON, Karen Guerin (Joseph) of Victoria, Laureen Pollard (Thomas) of Victoria, Gail Gautreau (David Smith), Derek Henshaw (Eva) of Tremont and Blair Henshaw (Carrie) of Kingston, ON; his sister Virginia Langille of Digby; and his grandchildren, Steven Henshaw, Jeffrey, Ashley Guerin, John, Christopher Morrison, David, Krystal Ellingwood, Jeremy Gautreau, Kyle and Nicole Henshaw. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
