She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elva Tufts and Hebert Tufts; her husband Lawrence; her son Wendell; and her grandchildren, Lori, Andrew, Dorothy, Melissa, Meredith, Genevieve, Shana, Jennifer and Gina.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, Cystic Fibrosis Nova Scotia or Nictaux Baptist Church - organizations that meant a great deal to Ila.
