It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Robert Fisher (Middleton, Nova Scotia), born in Barrie, Ontario, who passed away on August 24, 2018, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George Fisher, Frances Fisher, Nelson Hirtle and Edith Hirtle. He is survived by: his parents, Robert E. and Mary Fisher (Hirtle); his wife Bonnie Fisher (MacAskill); his stepdaughters, Megan Best (Meghan Bremner), Jessie Fraser (Matthew) and Kelsey Best (Jonathan Bowen); his grandchildren, Brielle Fraser, Liston Fraser and Alexander Fraser; his sisters, Robyn Henderson (Pete) and Krista Fisher (Andrew Kunz); and his nephew William Henderson (Rachel MacNeil).
Donations in his memory may be made to the Oncology Departments of the Valley Regional Hospital or the QEII Health Sciences Centre.
