He was predeceased by: his parent Wesley Silver; and his siblings, Elmeda Pernette, Harvey Silver, Fred Silver and Chipman.
He is survived by: his parent Florence Silver (Wile); his wife Terry (Whitman); his daughters, Natasha Silver, Plymouth, Michigan, Tia Silver Surette (Alexi) and Halifax; his sister Betty Engler of Dartmouth; and his granddaughters, Hailey Silver, Olive Yu and Claire Surette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Gordie's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Springfield United Baptist Church or the IWK Health Centre Foundation.
