He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jansen and Loretta Jansen (Doepker); and his siblings, Celine, John "Jack", Ian, Kenneth and Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Dora E. (Canning); his children, Valerie Jansen of Leduc, AB, Verna DeCoste (Leonard), Wilmot, Karen Mailman (Jeff), Judy Henwood (Dave Wright), Nictaux, Timothy Jansen (Margaret) and Brian Jansen of Moncton, NB; his grandchildren, Kyle DeCoste (Reanne), Kingston, Victor Henwood and Nictaux; and his stepgrandchildren, Drew Hudson of Fredericton, NB, Jaxon Mansfield and Lesley McClure. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
