He is survived by: his wife Anita; his sons, Gary and Vernon; his grandchildren, Derek (Julie) of Lindsay, ON, Greenwood of Lindsay, ON, Mitchell Halifax (Lindsay) of Lindsay, ON, Adam of Lindsay, ON and Melissa of Lindsay, ON; his great grandchildren, Carlie, Ava, Sophie and Liam; and his cousins, Patricia Pryor, Truro and Katherine Grant (Emery). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
