He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest A. Hatfield and Helen F. Hatfield (Power); and his brothers, Clarence and Paul Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Wanda A. Dahlgren; his children, Shannon Dearman of Alberta, Natalie Ward of Alberta, Mary Hatfield and Kevin Hatfield; and his niece Dominique Dahlgren of Kingston. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
