She was predeceased by: her husband Guilford "Gil"; her siblings, Eunice Richard and Arthur; and her parent Robert Harris. She is survived by: her children, Jo-Anne MacDonald (Michael Maigret) of Valbonne, France, Susan MacDonald (Neil Cameron) of Halifax and Brian MacDonald (Millie) of Kingston, ON; her sister Olive Jackson of Glace Bay; her grandchild Jason MacDonald; her great grandchildren, Nolan and Avery; her stepgrandchildren, Bonnie and Julie; and her parent Mildred Harris (Maidment).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mid-Valley Palliative Care.
