She was predeceased by: her significant other Martin Eakin; and her sisters, Gwen (Groff) of Winnipeg and Helen (Pasquill) of Edmonton. She is survived by: her son Michael (Laurie); her granddaughters, Sarah and Melissa (Jonathan Lindsay); her son John (Alicia); her grandsons, Jeremy and Michael; her daughter Pam (Mike); and her grandsons, Alex and David.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to support the Elizabeth Murrah Bursary Fund of the Nova Scotia Choral Federation.
