He was predeceased by: his parents, John Beck and Rita Beck (Roche); his son Mike; and his siblings, Mel, Marion and Sheila.
He is survived by: his spouse Catherine (Boyle); his children, Karen Baker (Tom) of Meadowvale, Donny Beck (Angela) of Berwick, Deanna MacLean (Scott) of Kentville, Krista Beck (Roy) and Halifax; his grandchildren, Katie, Jordan, Brooke, Samantha, Jacob, Tyler, Jon, Angus and Benjamin; his daughter-in-law Christine Beck; and his brother-in-law Frank Irving. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
