She was predeceased by: her parents, William Whitworth and Elizabeth Whitworth (Leaman); her husband Roy "Ray" Dent; her son Stephen "Bucky" Dent; her great grandchild Connor Meilke; and her siblings, William, Joseph, Margaret, Betty and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Sharron Leahy (Dave) and Ian Dent (Bonnie); her daughter-in-law Joanne; her grandchildren, Andrea, Jessica, Kristy, Kaylie, David, Samantha, Cody, Jocelyn and Krisanne; and her great grandchildren, Colby, Gavin, Owen, Liam, Lily, Emma, Chase, Savannah, Wesley, Deegan, Spencer, Carter, Emmett, Addisyns, Macin and Ashton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or to your favourite charity.
