He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline; his parents, Ken Meek and Doris Meek; his sister Gloria Bjornson (Gord); and his son Grant Davey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Langdeau (Rod) and Ken Meek; and his children, Blaine Meek (Jennifer), Scott Meek (Carolyn), Gary Davey, Kim Amundsen (Keith) and Rhonda Desorcy (Larry). He is also survived by his family including his grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Homes, Oakridge Chapel (1110 Old Sackville Rd, Middle Sackville, NS B4E3A6).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army, or the Alzheimer Society.
