We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2019, at the age of 83, Rose Marie Banks (Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Middleton, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Armstrong and Maude Armstrong (Smith) of Nictaux; and her siblings, Charles and Cary. She is survived by: her husband Milford Banks (Mel); her children, Steve Thaxter (Gail), Julia Banks and Michael Bennett (Abbie Courneya); and her grandchildren, Brent Thaxter, Landon Thaxter, Alyssa Thaxter and Kathleen Courneya.

Donations in memory can be made to the Terry Fox Foundation or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
