He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Bowdrey and Eileen Bowdrey (Wilson); his parents-in-law, Frank and Mary Tobin; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Hazelton, Frank Hazelton and Rick Harris (Walt Snow).

He is survived by: his wife Frances "Fran"; his daughters, Jennifer Schofield (Lee) of Edmonton, AB, Andrea Bowdrey of Middle Sackville, NS and Stephanie Boyle (Jim) of Elk Lake, ON; his pet Genevieve; his sister Lynn Bowdrey (Oliver Manton); and his siblings-in-law, Allan Tobin (Theresa), Brian Tobin (Barb), Pat Moret, Mary Furlong (Roland), Judy Harris and Elizabeth Power (Mike).
