He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Reid and Annie Reid (Carlton); his daughters, Starr Reid and Donna Reid; and his stepson Charles Farewell.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Reid (Maggie); his daughters, Michelle Messervey (Mark), Sherri Sauliner (Jake) and Lisa Georgakakos (Dimo); his sister Shirley Waldick; and his stepchildren, Belinda Miller, Colleen Banks, Michael Farewell, Gail Fraser and Victoria Farewell. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sackville Legion.
