He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Johanna Teresa Salter (Smith); his spouse Doe (Catherine Hillison); and his siblings, Lillian (George Westlake), Vivian (Frank Peacock), Marge Salter, Rene Salter, Constance Salter, William (Betty Salterio) and Ronald We (Marilyn Gouchie).
He is survived by: his friends, West and Davidson Streets; his children, Breanna of Middle Sackville, NS, Scott (Christine), Todd Stoney Plain (Andrea), AB and Jason; his sister Betty Barkhouse of Middle Sackville, NS; his mother-in-law Marge Thorne; and his sisters-in-law, Joan (Bob Kwiatkowski), Mickie Middle Sackville (Thom Shields), Gloria (Melvin McIntyre) and Joanne Hillison (Martin Clayton).
