He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Maillet and Cecile Maillet (LeBlanc); and his brothers, Brian and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his stepson Jerome; his grandchildren, Hafsah and Nusayba; his sisters, Jeanne Maillet (Jean Guy Belanger) and Christine (Tina); and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Maillet and Dora Maillet. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
