He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gregory and Elizabeth Bowles (Dineen); his significant other Nancy Taylor; his daughters, Donna Ball (Chris) and Tracy Dominix (Todd); his granddaughters, Jocelyn Spears, Julia Gay, Jenna Dominix and Sara Dominix; his great grandchild Dawson David Atkinson; his sister Norma Barnes (Robert); his niece Maureen VanRavens; his nephew Darryl Bowles; his children, Glen David and Dawn Marie; and his brother Donald Bowles.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation of Nova Scotia, or Canadian Cancer Society.
