With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Maillet (Meteghan, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yvonne Maillet to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Comeau and Adèle Comeau (Robichaud); her stepmother Rosalie Maillet; her brother Alfred; her great grandchildren, Grace and Léo; and her husband Benoit.
She is survived by: her children, Alfred (Phyllis Chandler), Donald (Anice Stuart), Normand (Janet Boudreau), Adèle (Donald LeBlanc), Earl (Cindy Deveau), Charles "Chuck" (Jennifer Kelly) and Grand-Mère; her grandchildren, Marc, Jason, Gary, Jessie, Josanne, Marielle, Sana and Anik; and her great grandchild Jaxson.
Due to the current Covid-19 provincial restrictions, a family graveside memorial service under the care of Meteghan Funeral home will be held in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to La Villa Acadienne Foundation.
