It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis O'Connell (Meteghan, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Connell and Lea O'Connell (Saulnier); his wife Rose; his grandsons, Marc and Gabriel; and his brother George.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew (Maureen), Louise Melanson (Mike), Beaver River and Susan O'Connell (Alan); his grandchildren, Brian, Julie, Ben, Melissa and Evan; and his great grandchildren, Kristie, Danielle, Jordan, Jessica, Emma Rose, Hunter, Emily, Haley, Isabella "Bella", Logan, Adrian and Javier.
Visitations will be held in Meteghan Funeral Home Tuesday, September 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where Covid-19 provincial guidelines will be followed. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private funeral mass will be held in Église Sacré-Coeur, Saulnierville, with Rev. Mathieu Agbaya officiating.
