He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tom" and Marguerite "Maggie" Chandler (Deveau); his wife Marie; and his siblings, George of John, Daley, Gus, Celeste, Estelle and Therese.

He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth (Linda), Hectanooga and Allan (Christine); his grandchildren, Natasha of Edmonton, Melissa of Mavillette, Nicole of Meteghan and Josey of Meteghan Station; his great grandchildren, William of Edmonton and Elizabeth of Edmonton; and his pet Taryn.
