He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Aymar and Lorette Aymar (Robichaud); his wife Pauline; and his sisters, Stella, Annette, Ruth, Bertha and Doris.
He is survived by: his brother George; his daughter Judy Aymar Upper Tantallon; his grandson Jacob (Meghan Mahar); his son Marcel Ottawa (Anne Marie White); and his grandsons, Charlie and Leon Aymar. He is also survived by his four children.
